Hamilton Best Start Parent Charter
News -- February 3, 2010
Hamilton Best Start Network invites parents, children, educators and early learning experts to help develop a Parent Charter which will provide a consistent message to parents about the value of their parenting role and help support children, youth and their families. The Parent Charter is available in English and French as per the attachments and at www.hamilton.ca/beststart along with an online feedback form. Parents are encouraged to review the draft charter and provide feedback which will be used for revisions. Revision suggestions can be submitted online or by fax to: (905) 574-8873, c/o Ruth Doherty. The intent is to have a final version available for public release in June of 2010. Questions can be directed to Ruth Doherty, Integrating Support Coordinator, ASCY at (905) 574-6876, ext. 240.

CONCOURS DE FRANÇAIS McMASTER

The contest includes written, listening and oral components that will
determine the French Language Champions for the Greater Southern Ontario Region for both core
and extended/immersion in three grade categories: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12.
The Concours is organized and sponsored by the Department of French at McMaster University
and will be held on Wednesday, April 28th, 2010 on the McMaster University campus. Information
